There’s just a month to go before the 2017 Quest NBS & CIMSPA joint conference, taking place 14-15 March at Chesford Grange, Kenilworth.
The conference allows sector professionals to play their part in maintaining the momentum of CIMSPA’s workforce development project, and also provides an excellent personal development opportunity.
Day 2 of the event, with conference content curated by the sector’s single chartered professional body, is a must-attend for those managing and providing sport, fitness, leisure and physical activity services, as well as those involved in training and education in the sector.
High profile speakers will open and close the conference with inspiration and smart insights into our sector's work; a series of interactive panels will see sector experts examine apprenticeships, diversity, professional standards and the skills agenda; and a pair of seminars will feature a detailed drill-down on both labour market intelligence and the sector's higher education employability gap.
The latest confirmed speaker is Nick Bradley, CEO of Premier Global. His closing keynote will cover how leading US companies are leveraging data and analytics underpinning performance measurement to improve learning effectiveness, and will make a winning pitch as to the benefits of investing in quality.
As an added bonus, many of CIMSPA’s awarding organisation partners will be on hand to share how they are developing the qualifications and CPD that will help improve career pathways in our sector, and event sponsors will also be present in the exhibition.
CIMSPA member delegates attending will qualify for CPD recognition in line with CIMSPA’s professional development policy – each event day awards 3 developmental CPD points, which together count for half of a member’s annual requirement.
Discounted delegate fees are available for both CIMSPA members and staff employed by CIMSPA partners. Between the two conference days, an evening social event, sponsored by Matrix, will provide an excellent networking opportunity.
